Rachel graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Malaya. Following her undergraduate studies, she gained experience in the public sector through participation in the Perdana Fellowship Programme in 2023, during which she was attached to the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development. This experience provided her with valuable exposure to public administration and inter-agency coordination within government sectors.

Rachel is involved in both contentious and non-contentious matters. She has experience in cases involving employment disputes, corporate advisory, intellectual property litigation and prosecution, as well as due diligence for Initial Public Offerings (IPOs).
Rachel has a growing interest in the intersection of innovation, law, and policy. She has contributed to legal publications, such as on artificial intelligence regulation and intellectual property case developments in Malaysia.
